Resin Bound or Bonded Driveways & Patios
Our range of resin finishes can provide you with a decorative driveway of distinction, or perfect patios and paths.
Resin Bound surfacing is achieved by mixing polyurethane resin and stone aggregates together and pouring the mixture evenly over a level underlying concrete or asphalt surface, spreading it carefully to achieve a uniform finish.
The result is a smooth, seamless, porous surface with your choice of aggregate fully encapsulated in the resin, so it stays in place and seals the area.
Resin Bonded surfacing is achieved when a layer of resin is applied to a prepared solid surface (concrete or tarmac) and the aggregate is then scattered on top so it becomes partially embedded in the resin layer. Any excess loose aggregate is removed after the resin has cured.
The result is a textured surface with the aggregate held fast to the substrate, but not fully encapsulated in the resin.
